REACH - OPEN NOW!
REACH
REACH is our Mental Health Support Project supporting young people aged 15-18 years suffering from the impact of a range of mental health challenges. The Project offers one to one support, support from CBT Practitioners, access to alternative therapies, upcycling, introductions to sports, dance, cooking and creative arts, crafts, music making activities, yoga, Tai Chi and many other interventions.
Our sole aim at REACH is to support young people to start to feel better about themselves and to start to develop coping skills and strategies.
REACH provision for those aged 18 years and over is also avaliable in Glasgow and is a separate Project.
Participants receive a daily Participation Payment, Travel Costs and Lunch.
Referrals can be made from Schools, Social Work, Training Providers/ Colleges/ Careers staff, GPs, other Voluntary Sector support agencies, parents/ guardians or self-referrals.
REACH support is available 3 days per week from our Glasgow and Coatbridge Centres.

Launchpad, as described above is for young people who have reached their official school leaving date
For 16-18 year olds, Launchpad slowly introduces an Employability focus but still offers a high degree of out of centre activities designed to support Personal Development and Lifeskills progress.
Young people will be offered the opportunity to achieve SQA Awards in Personal Development, Customer Service and Digital Skills.
Pre-NEET Launchpad - OPEN NOW!
Pre-NEET Launchpad
This Programme offers a Programme of alternative learning for young people with 6 months or less before they can officially leave School.
Pre-NEET Launchpad is offered from our Coatbridge Training Centre. Young people are supported via small group-work and one to one support. We offer access to Digital, Personal Development and Core Skill support alongside intensive personal goal-setting and Key Worker support.
Pre-NEET Launchpad offers a broad range of out of centre activities, visits, sports introductions, practical projects, and outdoor challenge activities.
Young people will be offered the opportunity to achieve SQA Awards in Personal Development, Customer Service and Digital Skills
Young people will receive a Training Allowance, Travel Costs and Lunch.

Challenge Life
Challenge Life offers a Programme of support to young people, 15-18 years, who have an official school leaving date.
Challenge Life is offered from our Coatbridge Training Centre. Young people are supported via small group-work and one to one support. We offer 8 weeks of intensive personal and group challeges including, Personal Development and Core Skill support alongside intensive personal goal-setting and Key Worker support.
Challenge Life offers a broad range of out of centre activities, visits, sports introductions, practical projects and outdoor challenge activities.
Young people will be offered the opportunity to achieve SQA Awards in Personal Development, Customer Service and Digital Skills
Young people will receive Travel Costs and Lunch.
Referrals can be made directly from Schools/ Careers staff.

Accelerate Plus Stage 2 - OPEN NOW!
Accelerate is for young people aged 16-19 years.
Accelerate offers a range of Vocational Introductions alongside an intensive Personal Development Programme designed to help young people recognise the need for Digital, Core and Personal skills in everyday life and work situations.
Vocational understanding is enhanced by access to Virtual Reality experiences offering young people an insight into various occupations and helping them interact in Customer Service occupations.
Young people will be offered the opportunity to achieve SQA Awards in Personal Development, Customer Service and Digital Skills
Young people will receive a Training Allowance, Travel Costs and Lunch.
Referrals can be made directly from Schools/ Careers staff, other Training Providers/ Voluntary Sector Organisations.

NOLB FOCUS - OPEN NOW!
FOCUS is a Stage 3 opportunity offering intensive Employability and Jobsearch support, followed by Work Experience/ Work Trial.
Young people are also offered access to industry-specific accreditation such as CSCS card, REHIS Food Hygiene and First Aid.
FOCUS participants are offered a Training Allowance and Travel assistance, alongside any clothes/ boots for work, as needed.
Referrals can be made by Schools, Careers staff, Training Providers/ Voluntary Sector organistions/ Self-referral

This project is part funded by the UK Government through the

The UK Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021/22. This aims to support people and communities in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare the UK for the Shared Prosperity Fund. It invests in skills, community and place, local business, and supporting people in employment. 2023 has so far seen significant change to our portfolio of Programmes.
We have delivered Projects in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council and funded via No One Left Behind Funding - Lift Off for our pre-school leaving age young people and Accelerate and FOCUS for our Stage 2 and Stage 3 young people which concluded at the end of June 23.
We are delighted to announce that we have two new Projects due to launch in North Lanarkshire in August - Challenge Life and Accelerate Plus, both funded via North Lanarkshire Council's No One Left Behind Budget - more information coming soon!
In addition we are delighted to annnounce that we have been successful in securing funding from the Shared Prosperity Fund to deliver the UK Government's MULTIPLY Programme. Our first Project will launch in August - watch this space!
REACH and LAUNCH is a new activity-based Project for young people taking the first steps towards Employability Training. Young people taking part in this Project in both Coatbridge and Glasgow are loving this Programme and recruitment is ongoing.
We are delighted with the success of our REACH Mental Health Support Groups in Glasgow and Coatbridge and are hugely grateful to the many Charitable Donations that have made these wee groups possible. Recruitment is ongoing.
Our Just a Wee Gab Pilot in North Lanarkshire is a wee pilot supported by the National Community Fund, engaging those most isolated and lonely in the community.
May has also seen the launch of our new Training for Work Programme in Glasgow with our first intake of young people focusing on the skills needed for entry to the Hair and Beauty Sector and June 23 will see the launch of our MULTIPLY Programmes in Glasgow funded via the Shared Prosperity Fund.
We are delighted to announce that our new FOCUS Retail, Warehousing and Customer Service Project is well underway in Glasgow with all participants now in Work Experience Placement!

The ‘Challenge Life” Programme offers an intensive challenge-based start to Training. Over 4 weeks groups of young people, plan and prepare for a 2 week outdoor education challenge programme included within this period, having identified the personal goals they wish to achieve as a result of this. Activities include a 3 day residential on a deserted island, camp or hillside bothy and 2 week's worth of activities including high wire assault courses, canoeing, cliff-jumping, gorge-walking, survival skills etc. Referral for this standalone Programme can be made by Skills Development Scotland but elements of the Programme are also included in Launchpad and Accelerate as well as EF Stage 2. Training For Work - HAIR AND BEAUTY - RECRUITING NOW!
TfW is offered in Glasgow and offers 12 week vocational introductions to a range of sectors. We are currently recruiting 16-19 year olds wishing to train for the Hair and Beauty Sector.
If you are a Glasgow resident and aged 16-19 years and would like to train to enter the world of Hairdressing and Beauty, please join our FOCUS Hair and Beauty Programme. The Project is 12 weeks long and offers practical skills training, Work Experience and access to local jobs. We will pay you a Training Allowance and help with travel costs.

Just a Wee Gab - OPEN NOW!
Just a Wee Gab is a community-based support group aiming to provide well-being support and connectivity to adults within the Coatbridge and Airdrie communities who are socially isolated. Groups are offered on a drop-in basis and at a basic level aim to provide opportunity to make friends and receive advice on a wide range of issues.
